At Global, we also developed coatings used for dye-sublimation inks, a printing process for T-shirts, Mugs, Ceramics etc, however, this process is not suitable for products used outdoors, especially memorials but ideal for many gift items.

When I purchased a photo plaque of my Dad on eBay it was a low price product, 7 months later the photo started to peel and fade and changed to a pink colour. I was very concerned and have been unable to contact the company since so I searched google and came across Global Memorials and purchased a plaque from them. On receiving it the quality was much better and it wouldn't scratch and is guaranteed forever from fading. I spoke to a production manager at Global and he told me about cheaper photo plaques produced by other companies that are coated with a lacquer then printed on to ceramic plaques and are not UV stable and will scratch and peel, this is why they are cheaper and work out more expensive because you have to replace it every 12 months, he said with our plaques that’s not the case. I really appreciated the quality of the plaque when I received it, this will last forever, top quality.

My Nan sadly passed away and I was trying to find a company that could make a small size 19x25mm oval, porcelain with a photo of my Nan fired into the porcelain stone and fitted into a 18c gold pendant. Global produced it for me and it was hallmarked by the Assay office so I knew it was pure gold. I can sunbath, swim or sleep in it knowing the porcelain stone will not fade or scratch. The old laser or engraved pendants scratch easily so they are not as good as my full colour pendant from Global.

Not every product is available online; this is because some products are produced exclusively for our clients.

Global memorial plaques are guaranteed from fading forever and scratch-resistant. We don't use dye sublimation inks when producing memorial products because they will fade and scratch very easily especially when used outdoors, so don't be fooled into buying a cheap dye sublimation or Perspex plaque that won't last long. It will soon need replacing and cost you more in the end so why put a cheap Perspex plaque on a wonderful memorial?
